Greeting fellow homosapience, I would like to start off with an apology for my atrocious updating of the blog. I assure you, this behaviour will not be repeated..
I have for a long time thought about one question, a very interesting one for that matter...
(and I would love to know your opinions aswell)
What is beauty?... Is it as ''they'' say, ''In the eye of the beholder''? or is our interpretation of beauty, something that has been pushed upon us by the media?
I saw this documentary a couple of weeks ago, with young women my age ''going under the knife'', having plastic surgery, to enhance their allready good looks.
One of the girls where 16 and had an eyebrow lift!! why people? why?
I mean...Is it just me or isn't it, women over the age of 45 who go through wth eye lid lift because of droopy eyes as a scarr of stress over the years or maybe wrinkles and what not. I dont know but what I have found myself to believe is... I'm not against plastic surgery and you know what, I myself might one day ''have something done'' nosejob, lipposucktion, you name it, but that is if I still have this vision of myself...of being ugly...
What I'm trying to say is... I would firstly like to learn to love myself or at least accept myself and the way I look but if that doesnt work and I still feel the same way about my looks than I might consider surgery.
What my next ponder now would be... are we done?
is this kind of surgery the ''cure'' to a bad self image
Is it really the answer to the problems and queries one have in its mind?
I think that a self image is created with what one have been surounded by in its life, the people - positive or negative? confident or unconfident? and the stories of your life marked as scarrs on your face, fortunate or unfortunate events...
Love yourselves!! /Z
