Is divorce the new black?

Ive been thinking about this matter for a long time... Has marriage become a trivial matter, to that extent that people get a divorce 'cause thats the 'mode' right now?

Its allmost like divorce has become the future tense of marriage..!

I dont know, I guess..Im still young but you start thinking about, when about do I want to get hitched, at 20? 25? 30? or at all? Im Algerian and Palestinian so obviously (maybe not so obvious..) this is not a questionable matter that marriage is in arabs minds, 'the reason why we are here' - to get married, have kids...die!

Maybe, on the other hand, getting married hasn't become so trivial in modern society, a girls dream has allways been to one day wear that white dress and be the centre of attention. That might acctually be a vital thing in ones opinion but where does the vitality stop? in staying? That is what I find so trivial and people nowadays seem to jump in to things without preparing themselves.

I mean, how will your marriage survive if you've known your significant other for lets say 6 months, you dont have a lot more in common than the love for eachother. In my opinion, you need to have had your first fight before getting married or atleast had a discussion where you had found differences in opinion and solved it by, maybe..accepting and respecting eachother opinion, you need know (by this I mean really! knowing who they are) the person your getting married to, but ofcourse people change and you find out thing during marriage that you didnt know before.
Im just saying that I believe that people should find solid ground first to then... start building a house..! (but even then the house might crack...)

A True Genius...

Despite all the bad things Michael did in life, HE WAS A TRUE GENIUS, and those who aren't feeling a bit affected or whatever you wanna call it, by his death, apparently knows NOTHING about music! Michael IS and will ALWAYS be THE KING!!! He is the reason why most of ur favorite artists even picked up a pen for the first time and started writing lyrics or stepped on the floor for the first time to start dancing!!

Here is my true post:

Every major R&B and "pop" star has taken something from the Michael Jackson playbook.
Usher, Ne-Yo, Ciara, Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears etc. The whole boy band craze started with Michael and The Jackson Five. The Osmonds, New Edtion,Boyz II Men, Backstreet boys, New Kids on the Block, N'Sync etc
On top of that videos... There is distinct difference in videos before M.J. and after M.J.

He basically reinvented the whole music video genre with his creativity and innovation.

Michael has influenced so many artists, some of whom are picking up on the grandeur and showmanship of his live performances. You can see his influence in his sister Janet, in Justin Timberlake, Usher, Britney Spears, and in Jennifer Lopez and Mariah Carey. You can see his influence in the dance moves -- the syncopated choreography -- that a lot of young artists use. And a lot of them have picked up his work ethic. When you look at a Britney Spears production or a Justin Timberlake production, or if you look at an Usher production, you really see that they took a page out of Michael's book; they went to rehearsal, and they must've worked eight hours a day, because their shows are flawless, as Michael's shows were flawless.

Thriller is still one of the greatest albums of all time and the top seller worldwide. Michael revolutionized music videos and took them to a level that nobody was even thinking about. Music videos became mini-movies and opportunities to tell stories--and not just to stand around singing--because of Michael's vision. The expensive music video and special effects are part of his legacy

There are many, many people who think of Michael as a spectacle, and it's sad. All of it has taken away from our ability to see him for the artist he really is. A world without Michael Jackson would be a very, very different world. And I think we should all feel very blessed that an artist of that caliber came into our lives, because he has enriched our lives.

Thanks for the music, the videos, and the performances. We'll always remember the moonwalk, the sequin glove, the shades, the hat, the crotch grabs, the military jackets, the infamous red jacket, the white socks--with high water pants--and the black loafers! We will never forget your Jeri Curl either!! One of the best.

I am now waiting for the tribute concert (cause there is no doubt that there has to be one) period.

Scary...

Tomorrow I'm having my University of Cambridge Proficiency Exam...
Wish me luck people!!

Just the thought of it is giving me a headache...

Bless/ Z

We've got talent...

There has been several people asking me, what is our blog about?!
Well...I post anything I feel like posting on the blog, sometimes I write about issues that I believe needs to get attention and sometimes I just post random stuff that I would like to share, opinions, videos, pictures and what not.

Today, I feel like giving credit to some whicked artists that we have in Sweden, cause I feel like their not getting enought attention. I mean, yeah Jay-Z, Eminem, 50...those are all given names and you cant compete and they are hands down, some of the best,
but come on, Soulja boy?...bow wow?...Ironik?...Dizzee?...Kano?...AKON!?!? No! We've got artists right here in Sweden who's music is soooo much better.

And this is some of what I'm feelin' right now (Love the videos!!):

Henok Achido - Pusher
J-son - My Window

Lazee Feat.J-Son - Pusherman

Let me just finish up with saying that, J-Son is and allways will be,HANDS DOWN! better than Adam Tensta, Lazee and Mofo all together! =)

Graduation equals poor faithfullness to the blog...

This month has been one of the most hectic months of my life, even thought people around me dont seem to have noticed at all...!
I Graduated a week ago (on the 2nd of June) but I dont think that it has hit me yet...
What I'm trying to say is that I dont think that I have fully comprehended what I have
accomplished. let me give you the facts..:

In Sweden you go to college/highschool for 3 years =800something points each year, you study courses that are worth 50 - 200 points each and you have to have at least 2500 points to be able to Graduate.
(thought you are allowed to have 250 points of failed points)

I as some of you might know spent my second college year in England studying 3 A-levels, this ment that I missed a year in Sweden and I would have to continue studying year 2...

I didnt buy that..!
I wanted to graduate with my friends,
or atleast with people my age, so...
I decided to do 2 years in one, double up bitch!

My teachers, the principal, my mother, and the rest of my family thought this was one of the
most stupid ideas they'd ever heard, but I had friends who believed that I could accomplish it.

So... last month I sat down with my mentor at school to go throught my grades and points to confirm that I had failed my task, as I thought at
the time. but no! we found that I had studied more than enough! I had 2900 points!! so what did I did I do? ....

I CRIED!!! LIKE A LITTLE GIRL NAMED IDA!!
(internal joke...sorry bout that...)

Cause I had made it...! So... moral of the story is...!
YOU CAN ACCOMPLISH ANYTHING!
