Word of the day: Love

Love to us is like water and the sun is to plans - we grow with it or we die without it. Respect it and don’t abuse it. Be kind to each other in the name of love. And distance yourself from anyone trying to take advantage of Your Love.// Sara

Jay-Z on Oprah

I love Oprah, well sometimes she gets a bit too OPRAH if you know what I mean, as in too repetetive and too American, but as I said, at the end of the day I LOVE OPRAH!!

I have so much respect for this woman, its crazy! why? because of the fact that she is one of the most strong women out there in the public eye. She has fought herse
lf from being sexually abused by the men in her family to becoming one of the most powerful women in the world in so many ways.

And, right now I'm having a Jay-Z period, dont know why, maybe because of the whole Jay-z craze in Sweden last week, when he hosted a release party here. Anyhow!
Jay-Z appeared on Oprah this week, and for some of you this might sound normal as in, Yeah so what? she always have big names on her show. NO! Oprah has never had a rapper appear on her show, because of the fact that she hates rap music, ans why does Oprah hate rap music? I'll tell you why... because of the fact that she finds it demeaning to women, and because of the fact that rappers use ''THE N WORD''. well everyone is entitle of their own opinion and we all respect it. So for you who didn't see the show, maybe live in a country where Oprah is pay per view, You can now thank me for here is Jay-Z on the Oprah Winfrey Show =)

Feeling of purity...

WoW...That's all I can start by saying, WOW!!!

Yesterday was an absolute amazing day, It was the day that the ''Eid- celebration for all'' took place at the museum of world culture. And I, Sara Bessa was a part of it, for some people, it was just an event and for others a new way to celebrate Eid outside of their own household.

For me it was an eyeopener, And I have not stopped smiling since.

The people who were involved, the faces, the gratitude, that people were showing was just... priceless. But most of all, what I'll never forget are the people I met.

I have for some time now, felt in some ways down and I wouldn't say lonely but... alone (yes there is a difference), Not feeling as if there is any good left in the world, or at least in my surroundings, a feeling of darkness...

Yesterday I felt purity, gratitude, and pure happiness, gratefulness to have been given the opportunity to meet all these people, these beautiful, amazing a such intelligent people.

This has charged my mental batteries for a long time to come...did that make any sense?

Value yourself..Be a first class you..!

I was going through a few articles and stuff that I'd written in the past, including the blog, And I came across one that I would want more people to read, or If they'd allready read it then.. read it again!

Recognise your attributes and make the most of them rather than dwelling on imperfections. By all means eat sensibly and exercise to have a healthy body - but also have a healthy mind. Your attitude towards yourself makes a big difference. Lack of confidence in your appearance can lead you to behave in defensive ways that appear unfriendly and aloof, and this behaviour is likely to put people rather off than your appearance. Believing in yourself and feeling good about the way you look will help to automatically send off more positive signals about the person you really are.

So don't waste any more time trying to be a second class somebody else and get on with being a first class you!

I just want to be successful

What is your definition of success? I've been going back and forward, trying to find a good explanation to what it is and...

My conclusion is, that success has just as many faces as any other possible theme, depending on the society in which it is measured, and the character of the person who measures it. Wrongfully, many people confuse success with wealth: they assume that a person's triumph can be concluded from the expensiveness of his or her watch, car, or house. They envy those in their circle of acquaintances who can financially afford more than they can. They keep comparing themselves with the Joneses and allow their happiness to depend on the level to which they can equal these people's lifestyles. And they forget to just do the simplest thing in the world: turn inside and analyze what it is that they really like.

I think success should be more synonymous with happiness than with affluence. For it's only when you find satisfaction with what you're doing and don't dread facing every new day when your task has to be embarked upon, that you are really successful. When you can move in an environment that pleases you, and when you feel at ease with the ones you deal with on a daily base; when you feel loved, cared for, understood, and valued in what you do, and you don't have to switch personalities from one location to another: that's when you've really attained success. When you see that you make a difference, if only in one person's life; when you are confronted with gratitude, not only from others toward you, but from your outer-self to your inner-self: that's when you are a real winner.

Success, therefore, cannot be measured by what radiates from a person's purse or material cover, but from what exudes from his or her personality. You can feel it in one's touch, you can hear it in one's voice: in the way one speaks, and you can see it in one's eyes. Successful people are self-assured, know what they want, and go for it. And what they want, they simply determine with feeling, and not with what others dictate them.

So, are you successful?

Here goes

Greeting fellow homosapience, Ive come to the conclusion that Ive been a slacker lately, Ive noticed it and I know that many of my readers have as well. I'm talking about the language, Ive gotten too comfortable in the way I write, and Ive started to slack!
Another thing, Ive started to write a bit to much about music, even thought I did promise myself before starting the blog not write to much about, THE PASSION OF MY LIFE! because of the fact that it might actually bore my readers, So! I'm back again, may not stop with the writing about music but I will surely tone it down.

Or maybe you like it this way?
